The Startup Jobfair is our way of saying goodbye to the corporate grind and saying hello to real impact. We’re here to connect students with startups and scale-ups that share their drive and vision—whether it’s for an internship, a thesis project, or a career that breaks the mold. Kick off the event with insights from three entrepreneurs on navigating the startup world, followed by a vibrant booth fair where you can network with companies and explore exciting opportunities in technology and innovation.
Axelle Moortgat, a 2023 Computer Science graduate, is reshaping the energy landscape. As co-founder and CEO of NOX Energy, they have developed innovative software that optimizes heat pump efficiency, lowering costs and stabilizing the grid. Recently securing $1 million in funding, Axelle’s ambition is clear: to build the first unicorn led by a female CEO. Her journey highlights innovation and determination, making her a tech and entrepreneurship trailblazer.
Boris is a passionate advocate for innovation and business creation, thriving at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and market success.
With a proven track record in startup growth, funding, and cultivating exceptional company cultures, he brings a wealth of experience to the stage. In 2012, he co-founded and successfully scaled three SaaS companies – Cardwise, Xpenditure, and Rydoo – revolutionizing digital expense management for millions globally.
His leadership culminated in a successful exit to Sodexo Group in 2017, an achievement he considers secondary to the extraordinary company culture built during that journey. Driven by a belief in the power of strong values and rule-breaking innovation, he launched Pitchdrive in 2020, addressing a critical gap in European pre-seed and seed funding. This data-driven startup engine, now managing nearly €100M across its funds, empowers portfolio companies through mentorship and strategic guidance from people that did the ride.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, he contributed to the growth of Massive Media, a leading online community acquired by IACI in 2012. Prepare to be inspired by his insights on building successful startups, securing funding, and fostering a thriving company culture.
Jan Hollez is a serial entrepreneur and foodtech pioneer. As founder of Posios and Deliverect, he has transformed restaurant operations worldwide. Deliverect, now valued at over €1 billion, integrates delivery platforms with POS systems and serves clients like Pizza Hut and KFC, while also supporting local restaurants as essential community hubs. Named ICT Personality of the Year in 2022, Jan is passionate about sustainability, efficiency, and mentoring future innovators, driving impactful change in the food industry.
